Pump casing standard for sea water pumps is NiAl bronze versus much less corrosion resistant phosphor or gun metal bronze qualities. Pumps may also be delivered in Magnetic Drive, "Seal-Less" and Leakage-free version in order to eliminate liquid as well as fume leakages. The Mag Drive version is also ideally suited for marine and offshore boiler applications were steam and temperature changes are known to develop and causing seal malfunction.
