 ALLWEILER has designed
a state-of-the-art macerator to fit many wet waste
applications. The crushing elements are the rotating
impeller and the stationary cutting ring. By means of the
two crushing stages (cutting tips/ cutting teeth and
slotted cutter disc/toothed rim) grain sizes of 3.5 mm or
fiber sizes of 1.5 cm2 are obtained, depending upon the
kind of solid. The crushing elements are arranged
symmetrically, therefore the macerators can work in both
directions of rotation thereby increasing the service
life of the crushing elements by approximately 50%. A
high wear resistant mechanical seal is provided as shaft
seal. The applications include, recovered oil, fish waste, sewage, among many other uses. ALLWEILER PROVIDES
